During Year 4 of Destiny 2, at the launch of Beyond Light, Bungie will be implementing a new system they have dubbed the Destiny Content Vault that will see some content removed and other content added in. Since certain planets are being removed, some exotics will no longer be obtainable as some of their associated quest steps are on no longer accessible planets.
